On the individual level, i avoid using air-conditioner completely, use public transport as much as possible and go by walk for most of the requirements. However, the urgency at which this issue needs to be addressed, individual effort is not enough. What we need is a mass national movement on creating awareness about the dangers of depleting Ozone layer protection. The dangerous gases like CFC, HCFC and their emission needs to be stopped immediately. Such products should be banned completely.

Scientists,technocrats and others all should develop a method to convert choroplourocarbon in to a such a gas that protects ozone layer

The individual houses or apartments should be designed or planned in such a way that it gets fresh cool air naturally so that using of air conditioner is avoided.
Strict air pollution control be initiated against factories emitting choroplourocarbons.Everone should be encouraged to plant more plants.

अधिकाधिक पौधे लगाने की आवश्यकता आन पड़ी है। हमें निस्वार्थ भाव से इस धरती को हरे रंग से रंग देना है। हम स्वयं आगे आकर इस कर्तव्य को अगर ईमानदारी से पूरा करें, तो इस धरती पर श्वास-प्रश्वास लेने में आसानी होगी और पर्यावरण भी अनुकूल रहेगा।

Use of air conditioner should be restricted and monitored by the government. Without necessity air conditioner should not be allowed.

The main cause of ozone layer depletion is mainly due to 1)CFC refrigerants, which should be completely banned.2) Use of conventional fuels in the automobile sector,power plants and industries, which should be controlled and move towards non-conventional energy sources like solar wind etc. 3) deforestation, so plantation should be done in a systematic and effective manner.

Plant more and more saplings on this Earth that would purify the atmosphere and keep the Ozone layer unpolluted and unaffected. It is human responsibility to save this environment asave our Earth from any man-made crisis, and Mass Plantation Drive is the only way to solve this environmental issue. Let's think global and let's begin our journey with all impact. Let's stop Global Warming and be a bit aware to contribute our best to help mankind survive!
