Organic Farming in Majuli | Momee Pegu

Under Horticulture Mission for North East and Himalayan States, Momee Pegu, an organic farmer in Majuli's Jengraimukh built a nursery named Ari’g using various organic methods such as vermicomposting, water hyacinth compost, seed trays, etc. With the assistance and support given by the Dept of Agriculture, Momee is promoting sustainable methods of farming among other small scale farmers.

উজনি অসমৰ নৈ বিল আদিৰ দাঁতি কাষৰীয়া অঞ্চল সমূহত তেনে কৃষি কৰ্ম কৰাৰ বহু ঠাই আছে ৷ চৰকাৰে পৰ্য্যৱেশন কৰি নিবনুৱা যুৱক যুৱতীক কৰ্ম সংস্হাপিত কৰিৱ পৰা উপায় প্ৰযোজ্য কৰি বিশেষ আকৰ্ষণীয় দিশ সমুহ সাঙুৰি পদক্ষেপ ললে আৰু বহু উপকৃত হৱ পৰা থল আছে ৷
