What is the situation of education in rural areas?
In the year 2021, the literacy rate in rural India was around 73.5%. This includes 81% male and 65% female literacy in rural section of India. As the rural economy currently contributes to 25-30% of the country's GDP, literacy in these parts is important for the Indian economy

What are the problems of quality of education in rural areas?
One of the major problems is quality of education due to education system itself and students. Present study is focused finding of teachers views regarding problems of rural issues. Major problems of our education system are lack of facilities, lack of awareness and lack of teacher's interest.

How can we improve female education?
Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan aims for participation of girls in elementary education by advocating opening of schools to make education easier, as well as teacher appointment, free textbooks, free uniforms, separate toilets for girls, teachers' sensitization programmes to promote girls participation gender.

Rural communities face challenges related to demographic changes, workforce development, capital access, infrastructure, health, land use and environment and community preservation.

Why is women's education in rural India so low?
There are some overwhelming cultural and economic reasons why female children are not receiving the same medical, emotional and educational attention as their male counterparts. The result is low literacy rate among women in rural areas.
