Kalong-Kapili is an NGO that sets up new avenues for youths across Assam to take up fishery by providing training, loans, etc. They have been working with fish farmers since 2007 to introduce scientific and smart fishery approaches. Watch their interesting story.

My ideas share with fisheries management
Day to day our technology developed in the field of science and technology. My suggestion to make fish and aquatic animal life save in water machine . Now this time many aquatic animal died through polluted water .my responsibility to protect this aquatic animal life and fish through higher level technology machine. I request our scientist to make technology to sae aquatic animal life

What are the characteristics of fish farm?
In all the towns, farmers reared fish mainly to obtain higher incomes and for food security. Fish were reared mainly by individual farmers with a few ponds managed by groups mostly under semi-intensive production. Groups rearing fish were mainly institutions and women groups.
