Indira Miri Universal Widow Pension Yojana is a scheme meant for welfare of widows of the state. Under the scheme, one-time financial assistance of Rs 25,000 is given to widows as immediate family assistance. The scheme has provided great relief to a huge number of poor widows in the state.
