Dr Badal Kumar Sen: All the rural areas be converted into rurban areas while attaining all the avenues we have in urban areas. Urban people need to be attracted towards the rurban areas where we may have a cluster of few villages. A few important appeals & selling points be developed for each & every cluster to arouse the interest of the urban people. Regular movement of urban people be welcome. A few govt. meetings be organised in every cluster even cabinet meeting may be organised in rural.

We can make our villages as a organic tourist hub by producing all food items and cloth by organic way which is very possible in Assam village and certifite these products as organic by international verification and certification agency.
We are working in this field last 15 years and have lot of idea to make our villages tourist hot spot and farmers also can increase their income.
Sir if you give me some personal time I can brief you how we can make our villages best and rich.

Educating and promoting these schemes through advertisements and street plays or mobile theatres will be a good idea. How to communicate their produce to nodal points at every town which is again connected to a call centre or online service.

(500 char limit is difficult!) That's where govt can come in. After farmers produce farm products, they need to store in probably warehouses and they need to deliver to customers. If that can be solved, i think for marketplace there will be many interested and Govt of India also supports ecommerce marketplace for FDI.

Online marketplace is the solution to this where farmers will be given an online marketplace where consumers will directly buy from farmers; thereby it eliminates middle man. Only problem is farmer has to deliver the goods to the customer. This i think will be easy problem to solve. If every morning an newspaper can be delivered on time...

First of all, congratulation for the effort that is put for upliftment of the villages. Our first battle is won! "The aim of this mission is to double the farm income by the Financial Year 2021-22". Farming, specifically organic farming has to be the way to uplift the villages. Villagers can be trained and farm products can be generated. But, i think until and unless there is a market to sell, there will not be any demand for this and ultimately will stop in couple of months and thus fail...tbd

There are many corruption in our area. Like power supply systems, government offices,& many scheme like indira awvas yojna. Many times I have experience. in power consumption bill coming with out taking a mitter reading.if you go for any work in govt office they don't work . many people getting 1/2 time indra awas yojna . and some poor people not getting anything. There are need to change the system in our village

Sir - when it comes to village welfare it has got to be customised as per the needs of that area and what are the natural resources /talent available that can be used.Moreover there are several people who have excelled at various fields in their respective rural belt must be taken on board .for example alumini IIM bangalore has taken up farming in baska district and with just a little help from tata foundation is going to change the way of living in 5 adjoining villages - no common policy reqd
