Mother bears a lot of significance in everyone’s life. She attains a very high stature in Indian society among others. The International Mother’s Day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May.

In the run-up to the celebrations on May 12, MyGov Assam invites you to share with us your best moment with your mother.

The ‘moment’ can be dedicating a song to her / singing a video song / writing a poem for her /sharing a candid moment with your mother in the house etc.

You can send your entries to assam.mygov.in and some of the best entries will be featured on MyGov Assam’s various social media platforms.

Last date of receipt of entries is May 20

Note: Plagiarised entries will be disqualified.

চন্দ্ৰকলাৰ দৰে বাঢ়ি অহা মোৰ যৌৱন
তই সযতনে ধৰি ৰাখিলি আই,,,,,,
তোৰ মলিয়ন চাদৰৰ আঁচল ,
মোৰ বাবে হাজাৰ অট্টালিকাৰ চাঁদতকৈও শক্তিশালী ।।
ঘৰ্মাক্ত দেহৰ গোন্ধত
মই বিচাৰি পাওঁ আপোনত্বৰ সোৱাদ ।
তই যেতিয়া তোৰ ভাগৰ ইটো সিটো
মোৰ খোৱা পাতলৈ দলিয়াই থাক !

তোক যে ধনন্তৰী যেন লাগে ।

শ্বপিং মলৰ দামী জেকেট ব্লেজাৰ পিন্ধিলেও
মাৰ হাতৰ উষ্ম পৰশে গুঠা চুৱেটাৰটোত
বেছি উমাল আছিল...!!

পপমিউজিক বা কোনো প্ৰেমিকৰ কবিতা শুনিলেও
শান্তিৰ টোপনি নাহে...
যি শান্তি মাৰ নিচুকনি গীতবোৰত আছিল !!
ডাঙৰ হৈ বুজি পাইছোঁ সকলোৱে এতিয়া,
মাৰ গালি-শপনি বোৰৰ গুৰুত্ব...
সেইবোৰেইটো জীৱন গঢ়াৰ শিক্ষা আছিল !!

It was from my mother that I learnt the importance of adopting the circumstances and not being afraid of the unknown.Some important words written to me by mother to me. "Remember good times and bad times will be part of your life equally and you have to learn to handle both with equanimity. Make the most life's opportunities and learn from every opportunity and challenge that life brings along'.These words of my mother makes my philosophy of life and gives touch of tenderness of my mother.
