Mother bears a lot of significance in everyone’s life. She attains a very high stature in Indian society among others. The International Mother’s Day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May.
In the run-up to the celebrations on May 12, MyGov Assam invites you to share with us your best moment with your mother.
The ‘moment’ can be dedicating a song to her / singing a video song / writing a poem for her /sharing a candid moment with your mother in the house etc.
You can send your entries to assam.mygov.in and some of the best entries will be featured on MyGov Assam’s various social media platforms.
Last date of receipt of entries is May 20
Note: Plagiarised entries will be disqualified.

माँ शब्द ही प्यारा हैं, देखो कितना न्यारा हैं।
माँ बच्चों को प्यारा हैं, देखो कितना दुलारा हैं।
मत पूछो माँ किनकी नहीं हैं, वो तो किसी से अलग नहीं हैं।
माँ प्रेम हैं, शक्ति हैं और जगतजननी हैं।
माँ निर्मल हैं, पवित्र हैं, ममता हैं।
माँ के अनेक स्वरुप हैं जिसे संसार धरती माता, गंगा माता और गाय माता के रूप में पूजते हैं।
माँ का आशीर्वाद सफल हैं, देने वाला विजय हैं।
माँ हर मुसीबत की चाबी हैं।
माँ एक प्यारा फूल हैं, ऊंचा इनका मूल हैं।
माँ को जो पुजे वो कभी ना दुजे।

परियो के सपने दिखाने को

ಅಂದು ಏಕೋ ನಿನಗೆ ನನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟು,
ಬಂದು ರಭಸದಿ ನೀರ ಒಲೆಯ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟು,
ಅಳುತ ನಿಂದಿಹ ನನಗೆ ಪೆಟ್ಟೊಂದ ಕೊಟ್ಟು,
ಕುಳಿತು ಬಡತನಕೊಂದು ಶಾಪವನು ಇಟ್ಟು,
ನನ್ನೊಡನೆ ದುಃಖಿಸಿದೆ, ನೀನೂ ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟು.
ವ್ಯಸನದಿಂದಲಿ ತುಂಬಲಾಗುವುದೆ ಒಡಲು?
ವಸನವೆಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಮಾನವ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಉಡಲು?
ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದಲಿ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ಚುರ-ಚುರನೆ ಸುಡಲು,
