Aashnaa ke roop me ek inaayat hai voh,
Khwaabo se bhari pyaari neend h voh
Aaine me khoobsurat chand si voh,
Aakhir Ulfat ka bhandar hai jo!!
Kehna chahti hun shukriya tumko!

In the word of womanhood when she shifts things from
here and there and reorganises herself,
Teach us how to become a sculptor or an anointer
And not an abductor or a polluter.
Blessed with many femininity attributes which are concatenated,
Helps them not only to perambulate a neonate,
But to hyphenate and encapsulate,
Which in turns helps them to conciliate and to illuminate,
And not to lacerate or impersonate.

Images of mother too drip by
She is no more but she lives in me

Her passion for music

Her love for children

Her empathy to animals
Provided me succor to love big and small,
Her helping nature to young and old
Opened doors of kindness in me.

My mother’s wittiness and garrulousness
