Another possibility for tourism of Assam can be tea-tourism with guest houses in small scale tea organic estates with a small scale tea manufacturing plant. The whole process of tea manufacturing starting from tea nursery to final packaged tea can be displayed to the guests.
Yoga tourism is another possibility. Assam has not embraced Yoga as others in India. There is a reason - from time immemorial Assam already lived a yogic life. Good Yoga school is a possibility.

A terrific idea by d Govt to open d young minds. Assam is a land of scenic beauty which is yet to explore n taste its real flavour. D mighty Brahmaputra cud b dugged n d sand within it can b used in both d sides to solve d flood problem n moreover a NH cud b constructd. Ropeway above Kaziranga will attract tourist. D heart of Karbianglong is v beautiful but unexplored. Dipor beel can b a hotspot for tourist if provided wid ecocamp facilities.Save Guahati else it vl b under water in next 30 yrs.

Assam, known for its rich bio-diversity has many National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries which are visited by tourists from all over the world during the season. Recently I visited the Manas National Park and Tiger Reserve but to our disappointment the road condition leading to the Park (Bansbari Range) from Barpeta Road (approx. 20 kms) is in a deplorable condition which makes the tourists to think twice before visiting the park. So infrastructure is must. #AssamTourism #AssamMyGov #MyGov

In Assam, main tourist sector is its sanctuaries and national parks. Keep those animals alive, safe and healthy. Provide good housekeeping to tourists in resorts near those areas. Remove illegal inhabitants etc.
