Tagline 'Naturally Wild' is misleading as Assam is more than wildlife. Poor choice of colors in logo. Webiste needs to be better and fully functional. Attractive promo videos showing tourist places & culture should be uploaded. Social media looks dull & inactive. Introduce a 24*7 helpline for tourists. (2/n)

For a successful tourism campaign, the brand elements should be given utmost importance, from logo, tagline, color, video, website, social media, staff behavior etc. People form impressions based on these elements.
'Awesome Assam' is a brand itself. But it has got its basics bad. For ex. the logo as told by designer Mr. Baruah (https://thewire.in/118516/amulya-baruah-assam-tourism-logo/) is full of faults and unattractive. Please read (1/n)

Tourism Will flourish when we will have proper connectivity by roads ,rail, air and also rivers,
Sir water tourism should be given more priorities as we have so many Rivers, also all of our Major cities should be connected with Rail and Air.,Also strict measures should be adopted to keep our cities clean, if these steps are opted then I am 100% sure that we will be among the top tourist destination in the world,we have so many heritage monuments and places, and wild life santuricies.

We need better communication, specially road transport. I live in Sonari, Charaideu which is located in the Nagaland border. We do not have proper road connectivity albeit we have numerous historical sites around. We can not expect and ask people to visit them because the roads are not roads in reality!

better transportation between different places in Assam. Online availability of information, with better support/ help on request. Booking of certain services using mobile apps, which also include payment gateways. Educating the autowala's and taxiwalas to not harass or cheat people. Make police more people friendly and also to involve them in certain ways.

We have many tourism destinations but the important once could be the temples and Naamghar but before all this we first have to clean our cities and towns (no posters or hanging phone and cable wires on electric poles) install solar street lights also install a bulletin board at every major road where people can put news or poster that way street would be little clean and organised.

A very important aspect of a good tourist destination is its clean air and green environment which is usually well maintained in foreign countries. Roads constructed should be of good quality and pitch black and the sides of the road should also be completed in a unique way, as it is the prime reason for most of the dust in the environment.

We also have so many tea gardens + golf courses. why not promote it in the form of tea tourism or golf tourism ? We can have several customized packages showing true beauty of Assam.

It's an humble request to Sonowal Ji & Himanta Da to develop the Brahmaputra river front on the lines of Sabarmati river front Asap. The city badly needs it. The front looked so awesome during #Namami Brahmaputra. When Gujarat can do it why can't we ?
