Presence of people of Assam origin, also may be termed as Prabaxi Axomiya, are spread over 110 countries across the world. These Non Resident Assamese (NRA) are no longer there as beneficiaries or mere livelihoods earner alone but have become inevitable and integral part of development programmes, process and nation building of their host countries. Of late, most NRAs are showing their feelings for Assam, expressing willingness to do something in a sustainable manner for their native places and contribute or take part in transforming the state in to a prosperous and developed one at par with the other global destinations. The government of Assam, on the other hand, is also keen to engage Assamese Diasporas in the ongoing development process of the State, utilising their resources; knowledge, skills, expertises, wealth and other resources.

In this regard, government of Assam solicits opinions, comments and suggestions from NRAs through ‘MyGov Assam’ on, what could be done or how they could be involved in materialising this mission of transforming Assam to a developed State in all spheres.

Small villages and towns from Assam must merge when possible to form one continuous urban or industrially developed area which will be easy and cheaper to administrate. Also it will stop the harming effects urban sprawl does to the environment.

The compact city or city of short distances urban planning and urban design concept, which promotes relatively high residential density with mixed land uses, shall be applied since contributes to the environment effectively.

India and the state of Assam must have its own sovereign wealth fund for profit generation and it should be based in the Singaporean Temasek Holdings. Sovereign wealth funds represent a large and growing portion of the global economy.

The government of Assam should create and adopt its own cryptocurrency with the support of the community to destroy inflation, avoid the rupees devaluation and the destruction of poor people purchasing power.

Assam should make history by legalizing same-sex sexual activity legal (which will attract homosexual foreign tourist with dollars to spend since they don't have children), adoption and basical civil rights. There musn't be legal prohibitions against private, adult, consensual, and non-commercial same-sex conduct to be in direct violation of fundamental rights provided by the Indian Constitution.

Assam must reduce the amount of MPs to 60, reduce child mortality, ban child labour completely, achieve 99,9% of literacy rate in 10 years, improve education by having agreements with the private sector, 0% State Debt to afford a reduction in taxes, the use of acequias against floods, the implementation of a yearly SUBBOTNIK, fines for jaywalking. End reservations and enact an antidiscrimination law instead, abolish ethnic councils since a court can solve ethnic issues.

Indian diaspora´s remittances already contribute to the national economy with nearly 70 billion dollars.
Assam as prosperous state? The state should get a surplus in the budget, pay all its debts and monopolize, tax and regulate alcohol, prostitution, drugs and gambling, no cow selling ban (For Christians, seculars and muslims). The result? No more sex trafficking from Bangladesh, drugs smuggling, commercial uncompetitivy, STDs. I can assure that Assam will get billions from that alone.
