For an enhanced interaction between the public and the Government, a well-designed website is of great importance. Government Website not only plays an integral role in dissemination of Information & Services to the public, but also in bringing transparency and openness in governance.
With the vision to offer an integrated web experience for the end-users across all government websites, the Government of Assam has taken a major step in Standardisation of Government Websites. The State Government initiated a project named “e-Prastuti”, a project steered under the aegis of the Information Technology Department to enable Standardisation of all Government Websites. The mission of this project is to guide the departments in designing and developing their websites in accordance with the Standardisation guidelines. This will provide a platform for participative practices and open governance for all the citizens of the state.
In the first phase, the websites for the following nine departments and its sub-organisation have been developed and are now live for public viewing:

The site should be like that it can set accountability for every rupee spend by each department. An a data analysis team giving review on every rupee spend by each department in a presentable manner so that were exectly the government is spending the 73 thousand cr rupees every year, so that the redundant department which are not the priority of Assam right now were given justified money only n focused capital expenditure for the future betterment of Assam can be done

Government should focus on building canal, Dam, developing water bodies
Inland waterways transportation etc it will address flood problem earn money through transport industry electricity generated and tourism, we just build road n it wash away with water, can't we make a department for water management n sell fresh bottle water, harvesting rain water, producing electricity from Dam, developing fisheries i think every department should give details of every rupee that they have spent in what

Our government fund or allocate a lot of money to different departments like 1. police 2. food storage and warehousing 3. Natural calamity 4 tourism etc etc and most of the expenditure is revenue, i think that government of Assam seriously need infrastructure building rather than revenue allocation on salary etc to every department, there may be justification for every rupee spend by each department, i want to say every rupees spend by it should be priorities for eg flood situation in Assam
