Only agriculture is the one and only sector in which assam can contribute for local economy with very limited crops only.Rest all others sectors i don't think assam can do better because of very poor infrastructure and lack of information to majority of peoples and also climatic factor.Animal husbandry is very good sector but our consumption is far higher than production.

Assam is an agriculture rich state. It is a high time to grow fcrops locally in both rural and urban area. Government has been helping farmers to develop crop fields but for urban developing of roof top garden is a necessary approach. Income can be increased through reducing the post harvest losses. To cope with this it is important to increase the number of valuable food processing industries, cold storage, transportation facilities, local crop, local value added quality reliable food products

environment and nature. It's rich demographic culture is it assets. Assam should flourish as a tourist state. It would help to protect the indigenous cultural and aid development in in many folds. Agriculture would also make the state harness it's self reliance motto. So to conclude Assam is for Agriculture State of Self Assured Management. Thank you.
