Simplicity is key to good logo design. I've designed the logo to clearly depict the event "Khelo India". It showcases a man running indicating the basic movement involved in sports.
I've used subtle gradients of our country's tri-color instead of flat colors as it brings more depth to the logo. The logo is a rebranded version of the previous logo which allows the people to easily recall the event without thinking much.

My basic logo design is that of a hockey player taking a hockey puck.
My composite logo design showcases a silhouette of the state of Assam, along with some of the most notable attributes of Assam- one horned rhino,tea plantations,the Jaapi, and a still from Bihu. It also houses a skyline of Guwahati.

The logo depicts the vibrant and diverse culture of Assam, the lush green tea plantation done on hills, the Indian rhino & elephant, the cultural dance of Assam - Bihu, the Indian Oil Refinery of Digboi, home of 45 species of bamboo plants and the Bogibeel bridge of Assam which is 4940 mtrs long.

The chakra represents the sport revolution ushered by the KHELO INDIA programme.
Background Yellow colour represents the land of rising sun.
The logo also represents the fact that Guwahati stands on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra.. The famous Onehorned rhino found in the Brahmaputra Valley is also depicted along with the tea plantations and hills of Assam.
