Sir, from last 2 fy 2015 to 2016-17, the Municipalities of Assam under UD Dept get only totalling Rs. 72.65 crores comparing to 1 fy 2014-15 Rs. 100 +crores under 4thAssam State Finance Commission grant knownly as Devolution Grant.
Sir, the 5th Assam State Finance commission tenure was started w.e.f 2015-16, but the report was not finalised by the govt. which was submitted by the Commission on December 2016.

Assam being a nice state, its tourism is still not explored, one reason is connectivity from mainland and duration it takes for reach Assam
