Promoting lesser-known potential tourist destinations

Endowed with pristine nature, rich heritage, diverse communities and shared history, Assam is uniquely positioned in North East India. No wonder, Assam has always occupied a special place on the tourism map of the country. However, there are still some lesser-known locations with natural beauty and a rich heritage. It is our responsibility to bring them to the fore and promote such places, which will further boost the State’s tourism potential.

On the occasion of World Tourism Day on September 27, MyGov Assam requests you to send photos or videos promoting the highly-promising but lesser-known tourist places in the State.
