Mother bears a lot of significance in everyone’s life. She attains a very high stature in Indian society among others. The International Mother’s Day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May.
In the run-up to the celebrations on May 12, MyGov Assam invites you to share with us your best moment with your mother.
The ‘moment’ can be dedicating a song to her / singing a video song / writing a poem for her /sharing a candid moment with your mother in the house etc.
You can send your entries to assam.mygov.in and some of the best entries will be featured on MyGov Assam’s various social media platforms.
Last date of receipt of entries is May 20

वो कहती है, कि मै सबसे बेहतर हूँ इसका अर्थ ये नही कि वो मेरी कमियाँ नही जानती.
निभाती है कुछ इस तरह वो मेरा साथ कि मेरी ग़लतियों मैं सुधार वो करती जाती.
वो सोंचती नही एक पल को रुक कर अपने लिये, कुछ इस तरहा मेरी ज़रूरतों को पुरा करती जाती.
है मुश्कुराती कुछ इस तरहा कि अपनी परेशानियों को छुपा कर मेरी सुलझाती जाती.
है उसका प्यार कभी ना ख़त्म होने वाला इसलिए तो वो माँ है कहलाती.

I did not know that my Mom will expire within 15 days after this picture has taken, when I was at
42 Years and She was at 73 Years of age.
She has not made me cry for even one time. She is such a great Mom.
I did not even realise a character of father is required in a family life.
She is really great that she did not make me feel that, even though she lost her loving husband in a tough situation. She took care of us more than God.

MOTHER- this word is combination of lots and lots of feelings, love, compassion.
