The “Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam” is organising a logo design competition, where the logo should highlight the focus areas of the Department.

The “Panchayat & Rural Development Department” of Assam is actively associated with enhancement of livelihood opportunities, alleviation of poverty, creation of an environment of social security, working towards economic inclusion of rural poor families, sanitation etc among many other functions in the State. The main objective of the Department is to empower rural Assam through implementation of a number of welfare schemes and programmes. It seeks to develop rural infrastructure, alleviate poverty, generate employment opportunities, remove regional imbalance and provide housing for rural poor, so that our rural economy can grow effectively.

• Development of Rural Infrastructure
• Rural Housing
• Sanitation
• Eradication of Poverty
• Rural Employment Opportunities

Prize Money: The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.

• Electricity to rural unelectrified villages.
• The new connectivity and upgradation of road infrastructure
• Modern farming technology given opportunities to farmers to run post harvest facilities all by themselves in a professional way will empower them.
• River Bridge connects rural communities stricken with poverty to greater opportunities through technology , health care and education etc.

My logo design for "Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam".Here the wheat shows that its related to rural areas and basically the panchayat.The roof signifies the housing and rural inftrastructure and development of livelyhood opportunities that the panchayat promises to provide.the saffron,green and navy coloured people signifies that we belong to the great nation of india. The Scholars cap, the Engineering helmet and the turban shows the rural employment opportunies being created.

Logo is for Panchayat & Rural Development Department, ASSAM.
The rice crop stands for the rural life of assam and the bolt in the back shows that it is under development.
Logo will better look in white background.
