Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society (AIWTDS) has been formed as an Apex Autonomous Body under the State Transport Department. The objective of this organisation is to manage, monitor, and coordinate the water sector of the State. The organisation is responsible for guiding the water sector in delivering as well as reforming water services.
It plays a key role in resource management and the smooth functioning of the inland water routes within the State, thus eliminating transportation bottleneck and maintaining proper navigability. This apart, the organisation also oversees the provision of rescue services and beautification of the surroundings to augment river tourism.
Inland water transportation is one of the many factors that attract investments to the State. It is cost-effective and eco-friendly in comparison to other modes of transportation. In view of this, AIWTDS also works towards strengthening the water transport network and facilitating easy movement for the people of the State. Capacity development and fleet modernisation also fall under its umbrella.
The Competition
Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society (AIWTDS) invites entries from interested persons for a logo design competition. This logo, which would be used as the official symbol of AIWTDS, shall help the organisation establish its unique identity. In a world that is going digital, the logo will also help the organisation leave a digital footprint of its actions, communications, and contributions manifested on the Internet.

This logo is designed for Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society. This logo consist of a river, river dolphins , a ferry . In this logo the ferry represents the transportation system of water. The river dolphins represents that the value of river of Assam. The blue waves represents the Brahmaputra river. Orange and green colour represents our national flag.

LOGO OF ASSAM INLAND WATER TRANSPORT is my design describe what inland water transport used for river,canal etc in our state "Assam" .It is a heritage for the tourist as well as peoples who used the this transport for travelling or goods transportation by river for themselves.In my design blue colour represent in short clearly the source of Inland transport with the waves of the river, our state map ,and face of rhino for the state representation which is jpg file.

As terms and condition stated for the competition I submitted this logo today (i.e 8-6-2017 6.57P.M.)Description of different parts of the logo :1. The Steering wheel indicates that a strong infrastructure of the water society 2.The boat indicate in related to water transport
3.Colour orange is symbol of strength and blue is for loyalty.
Dimension : 10x10cm. Font use :Time New Roman 72 (for Abbreviation) 36 for full form.

Circles do not begin or end. They move without restriction, suggesting energy & power. They can represent defence, endurance and safety. The circles are all around the nature. The elements that were included in the logo are the map of Assam, The river dolphin of Assam, A ship, anchors & a round rope which together signifies the Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society as a whole represented inside a circle as it has been associated with the heavens, life, order, completeness & wellness.

1.The “Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society” logo signifies
the prospects that lie along with the development of “water transport”.
2.Overall the logo spells “Assam” along with signifying all the things
associated with “Inland water Transport” from tourism to trade and
commerce.
3."Sishu" represents "A","Rising Sun" represents "SS","Sail" represents "A" & "Migratory Bird" represents "M" in "ASSAM".
