On the occasion of the 70th Constitution Day, MyGov Assam is organising an essay writing competition for students of Class VIII-XII, as a tribute to the makers of the Constitution. Write your essays and upload the scanned or PDF or MS Word copy on this portal in the comment section below.

Top three best entries will be awarded with certificates of appreciation to be signed by Hon’ble Chief Minister.

Subject of Essay: Importance of the Constitution in Indian Democracy

Word Limit: 500 words

Terms & Conditions:
• Page numbers of essay should be clearly written
• Name, address, contact number and school standard of the participant should be written at the beginning of the essay
• One participant can send only one essay
• The essay will be discarded if it contained plagiarised content
• MyGov Assam will hold the right to use the content sent by participants for any official purpose
• Decision made by MyGov Assam on rating of the essays will be absolute and final.

Examination system in India is quite obsolete and flaws-ridden. Owing to the inefficiency of this system the quality of skilled professionals produced in our country is verypoor.The fact is Indian examination system is not recognized in the advanced countries. Indian professionals have to pass exams in these countries to be qualified to do jobs there

Our constitution is great and we should follow the rules and regulations given by govt to us . Govt is the only body which works according to our wishes. Their is three tier system in India which very unique from other countries.constitution of India has given all the rights to people like right to freedom, right to equality , right to respect but in some countries people are facing this type of problem . Indian constitution was set up in the year 1949.
It is our pride and it governs our citizens.
Dr B R Ambedkar is known as the father of our constitution. The constitution of India tells us that we all should live in harmony and treat everyone equally .India is a diverse country with many forms of tradition and culture, it also says that we all have to follow secularism.It is the largest constitution of the world.Indian constitution does not give official status to any one language

If a person having his goals and aspirations then the work or job that he want to achieve became easier for him because he utmost put his effort in it and also the work became interesting for him.
