Leelacharan Dutta: The Bee Keeper

Leela Charan Dutta from Charigaon village of Jorhat is a young rising entrepreneur of Assam who runs a beekeeping business. His venture started off with very humble beginnings which later turned out to be a huge success. Presently he has his own processing unit which is often considered to be the largest honey producing unit of northeast. He sells his honey under the brand name of Assam honey, which is sold not only in northeast but all across Assam. He was also conferred the prestigious Bharat Vikas Ratna Award 2012 by the All India Business Development Association.
