Logo Design & Tagline Writing Competition for Assam Agroforestry Development Board

Agroforestry is the science of growing suitable trees along with agricultural crops and is an important tool for enhancing income for the farmers. In addition, tree planting can also be taken up on culturable wastelands, river banks, etc., not suitable for agriculture. Agroforestry is hence crucial from both environmental and economic perspectives.
With a view to linking farmers (growers) with markets, an Assam Agroforestry Development Board is being established. This will facilitate growing of trees for timber, silk host, medicinal species, agarwood, bamboo, sandalwood, tree borne oil seeds, and other species which are commercially required. This will also lead to increased domestic supply of quality feedstock to industry.
The Assam Agroforestry Development Board in association with MyGov Assam is organising a logo design and tagline writing competition. Interested participants may send their entries on the aforementioned subject.

Prize Money
Logo design: Rs 10,000
Tagline writing: Rs 5,000

The best selected logo and tagline will be made the official logo and tagline of Assam Agroforestry Development Board.

Last date of submission: January 17, 2022

Terms & Conditions
• The purpose of Assam Agroforestry Development Board should get reflected in the logo/tagline
• The logo/tagline should be submitted as comments in the DO section of assam.mygov.in
• The selected logo/tagline will be considered as a property of Govt of Assam
• The designer/writer should mention his/her name, address, phone number and e-mail id
• The tagline should be original and between 3-10 words
• The logo should be a flat design. There shall be no 3D or Shadow Effect
• Priority shall be given to logo made in Vector software
• It’s mandatory to mention the name of the design software
• There is no restriction on use of colour
• It’s mandatory to provide a brief description of the logo
• The logo should be sent in either JPG or PNG format
• No plagiarism shall be allowed and the Logo shall not use any material such as photograph, icon, symbol, image, etc., that is copyright protected. Participant should not imprint or watermark his/her Logo design. Each entry should be certified as an original piece of work
• Only one entry per participant in each category will be considered
