Self-Reliance through Agriculture | Barjarani, Biswanath

With the support received from Govt of Assam, people of Barjarani village in Biswanath Chariali have been able to sustain themselves through agriculture. Be it receiving seeds and khar (alkaline) necessary for farming or distribution of financial aid to farmers, people of Barjarani have benefitted a lot from various schemes rolled out by the Agriculture Dept. Here is a story of one such farmer, Babuddin Ansari and how he achieved self-reliance in the field of agriculture.
