Suggestions Invited for Making Popular Destinations of Assam More Tourist-Friendly

Dear Sir,
I am residing of Tezpur ward No.15 of Assam. Facing a problem of drainage system under ward no.15 of Tezpur Town. We already inform to Municipal Board for implement drainage system but they are not manage of it. Details are attached. Please help us.

First of all thanks to the present assam govt. to give like these chances to the public to speak...Now lets come to the point, according to me the 1st and foremost thing will be to make the transport facility (whether by road or rail or by air)better and the best which is not still up to the mark in comparison to the other states of India and then afterwards the remaining things will come. (The Guwahati Railway Station is still very much dirtier)

Assam tourism should be more visible on internet. The best platform I suggest is Google and more specifically Google Maps. The Google Street View Feature should be intensively used to make our places of tourist attraction more visible.This will help the foreign tourist explore and decide the places to visit as people rely on this platforms nowadays

1 City Specific Conducted Tours for a day,Wildlife Sanctuary Conducted Tours wherein bookings are online.
2.Proper road connectivity and Direction routes for tourists.
3.Ensure present and future build museums / places of interest have audio guided tours so that history can be served with minimal entry fee.
4.Entrust responsible persons for key cities to implement and create a sense of competition – eg. Safety / renewable energy usage / digitalization. This will also boost employment.

1. The river bank of Brahmaputra in Guwahati should be reclaimed by say about 80-100 feet and be partly used for developing a beautiful riverfront and partly for converting the M.G.Road into a 6 or 8 lane road. This will not only decongest the Guwahati city but will also make a beautiful tourist attraction like the Sabarmati River front of Ahmedabad or the Hussain Sagar LAke front of Hyderabad.

2. The Dipor bill should be developed as a water sport complex with House Boats etc.

#Sonbeel(wetland) is 2nd largest beel in Asia, located at Karimganj district. The scope of tourism is vast here in sonbeel. The speciality of this beel is that a river(singhla) passes in the middle of this beel. i.e, both lotic and lentic ecosystem is present. This is is the main reason of availability of large numbers of fish varieties. The fishes of sonbeel fulfil the demand of the three district of Barak Valley(Cachar,Karimganj & Hailakandi) and few parts of tripura also.

There are numerous historical monuments built in Ahom era in Sivasagar etc. We can develop and conserve all these monuments as tourist spots. We should also provide street lights in villages. We can also built dog shelter homes to manage stray dogs. We should focus more on road qualities rather than numbers of roads built. We can build seed banks, biological reserves, biological parks etc. We can also safely built cable cars like in Langkawi in Malaysia with safe designed planning,infrastucture.
