Suggestions Invited for Making Popular Destinations of Assam More Tourist-Friendly

Dear Sir,

If we can manage to invite tourist in our houses for free lodging & fooding for 2 night to 3 days, I mean for short period to show our hospitality as "Atithi Devo Bhava".

This could be a very great idea to promote our Assam's Cultural Tourism.

1. Good Connectivity through road, rail & air
2. Tourist information centre at all the arrival points
3. Accommodation facility
4. Good maintenance of tourist spots
5. Sustainable mode of operation
6. Tourist guide

hi! based on my non-assam based friends i understand that what tourists are looking for is the assam as it is and not an ape of other cities/states. the flora and fauna i grew up with - the olives and yoga teenage and fragrant orchids are what is distinct about assam. the food is unique. the hussar that visited each home - night or day - those i hope can be revived. another mall - another eatery is not unique. that's not people come to see. really hope people can see what i see when i say assam

DEVELOP AS MUCH SELLING POINTS AS ASSAM HAS BASED ON DIFFERENT LANGUAGES,RELIGIONS,RACES AND POLICIES ALONG WITH ASSAM'S APPEAL TO THE PEOPLE OF WORLD INCLUDING PEOPLE OF INDIAN PROVINCES.ALL THE INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANISATIONS OF THE STATE OF ASSAM BE REQUESTED TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN APPEALS WITHIN A STIPULATED TIME.BEST OF THE APPEALS BE REWARDED WITH CERTIFICATION.HOWEVER,RIVERS,GARDENS,TEMPLES,SCHOOLS,COLLEGES,UNIVERSITIES,MODEL VILLAGES,SECRETARY OFFICES,PASSPORT ,COMMERCIAL PLACES BE NOTICED.

Our State Assam is full of flora & fauna. We are very rich in natural resource compared to rest on India.

I am talking about Tinsukia District, We don't have to face draught like rest of west & middle India, even we don't have to face flood like lower Assam much more. We have sufficient ground water also. Even though why we are not cultivating our land twice or thrice like other parts of India...

Even wecan invite industries to setup here aswe are sound in water.

Moreover, To make our city an example of your good work, you should take all the measures to make sure that our big drains like the Bharalu in Bhaskarnagar Area of Kalapahar should be converted into a clean river. At present the water of this drain is completely Black, with lot of foul smell, methane gas bubbling out which is extremely harmful for the local residents.Let us take initiative to clean this drain as one of the Yogi has cleaned a long drain somewhere in India with his initiative.

People are asking that why this Road repair of Panjabari has been initiated in the advent of Monsoon and not during winter season. Is it that the contractors are going to make money out of it by taking the fund while keeping the work pending. Please see to it.

Dear Mr.Sonowal, I would request you to make sure that the projects which we take in our hand like Road development in City or improving drainage should be taken on war footing basis.
e.g. The Road of Panjabari is under repair with with new underground drains being constructed which is a good initiative but Why it is slow which is causing inconveniences for the local commuters and residents. If Japan can repair a Big Land Drop of the size of a big building within 7 days then why cant we ?

Most of the roads of Guwahati city has no street lights.And existing street lights are also not working.Kindly make all the street lights functional
