Conservation of biological diversity is very crucial for maintaining a healthy ecological balance on the Earth. Biological diversity includes the abundance of microorganisms, plants, animals and different ecosystems available at our disposal. Increase in human population along with other factors such as global warming, habitat destruction, pollution, etc. have led to gradual loss of many of our species and ecosystems.

Almost 284 species of plants are reported as critically endangered, 149 species as endangered, 58 species as vulnerable and 13 species as near threatened. The number of some of the species which are crucial to the state’s rich biodiversity has also been dwindling in the last few years such as one horned Rhinoceros, Water Buffalo, Pygmy Hog, Swamp Deer, etc. to name a few.

For a sustainable development, we need to come together and collectively work towards preservation and conservation of our biodiversity before many of them become extinct.

আমাদের অসম সর্বক্ষেত্রে বর্তমানে উন্নয়নশীল রাজ্য হিসাবে পরিগণিত করিবার উদ্দ্যেশে,অসমের জলবায়ু প্রদুষণ মুক্ত করিবার উদ্দ্যেশে চিকিৎসা বিভাগের উন্নতি সাধন করা বাঞ্চনীয়, অতএব,সমগ্র অসম বাসী একত্রে প্রদুষণ মুক্ত করিতে সহযোগিতা করিতে আহব্বান করা হইল। চিকিৎসা সম্বধীয় ব্যবহৃত আবর্জনা সমূহ যাহাতে আমাদের জন জীবন ও পশু পক্ষী জীবন দায়নী রূপে পরিগণিত হয় তার জন্য সর্ব সার্থ নীতি গ্রহন ও আইন গ্রাহ্য করিতে আবেদন করা হইল।
