The land of Assam harbours rich natural beauty, flora, fauna, art, history, tradition and cultural heritage. Owing to its richness, the land has immense potential for tourism. In recent times the state has developed a lot in terms of tourism, although there is still room for more.

The land of red rivers and blue hills has innumerable spots and destinations that can mesmerise travellers with its jaw dropping beauty. Tourists throng in numbers every year to experience the pristine beauty of these places. However, there are many destinations that still remain unexplored and have not received the attention of travellers. Recognition of these lesser known places may augment the tourism potential of Assam considerably.

To encourage our history, cultural heritage, the Kachakanti Mandir can be marked for touism. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Dimasa Kachari Mother Goddess "Kachakanti", one of the oldest temple of Cachar district which was established long back by the Kachari Kings. In the early days at the time of the Kachari king, there were human sacrifices made. Ghatotkoch,In Mahabharat was the son of Bhim and Hidimba.

Dibrugarh has become the most busy town in NE without any control on truck movement, car movement, people movement etceven the local para and paths are disturbed by movement, traffic awarness is must, but not seen.

Bhimeswar Dwadas Jyotirlinga Dham, located at dakhini hill, pamohi, Guwahati. Lord Shiva linga situated in flowing water. There is no temple. Area is full of Flora & Fauna. Very silent surronding with lots of birds.

Guwahati itself is a very beautiful place.Ot should be visited during Puja.All nearby locations are also beautiful NV.Guwahati has many tourist spot like Kamakhya Temple, Ugratora, Nabagraha,Assam State Zoo, Balaji Temple, the the markets, the bazaars like Panbazar,Fancy Bazar, the cinema halls, the shopping malls, the food joints, etc.
