Sanskar- Manuhe Manuhor Babe

Superstition, deep-rooted in our society, is the cause of various social problems and malefic superstitious practices have taken many innocent lives. Despite many attempts to wipe out prejudices and dogmatic practices, the evils of superstition still exist in our society. The prejudices which are profoundly inculcated in our societies act as a hindrance in the path for development.
As Dr Bhupen Hazarika, the Bard of Brahmaputra, tirelessly tried spreading the message of unity and brotherhood through his immortal creation “Manuhe Manuhor Babe”, let us all collaborate to uproot the evils of superstition from our society.
In an effort to eradicate such practices from our society and spread awareness among the masses, Government of Assam announces a campaign called “Sanskar-Manuhe Manuhor Babe”.
MyGov Assam solicits suggestions from citizens on how to spread awareness among masses against the prejudice, dogmatic practices & all forms of social evils, which now-a-days circulate through social media by the anti-social elements. Also, recommend how we can stay alert to combat the rumours, eradicate all superstitious beliefs and be compassionate towards our fellow beings.
