Increasing job opportunity is one of the indicators of development and economical growth of a state. Due to exponential growth in population and proportional raise in educated folks, providing adequate and equal job opportunity to them has been a major challenge that the government accepted with the topmost priority. Though the situation is improving with a moderate speed, still it demands much more effort and emphasis to add momentum into the progression to bring about a paradigm shift in the present scenario.
The government wants to leave no stone unturned to see and ensure that every eligible are given due employment opportunity and help upcoming youths build their capacity by skilling them to ( make them employable) enhance their employability.
Considering this, the state government wants to focus on expanding the horizons for employment with new and innovative ideas with the intend to motivate and boost the morale of the job seeker and arrest brain drain to encash these human resources for state’s development in particular and the nation as a whole.
To add momentum into this initiative of government, the citizens at large are requested to post their suggestions and innovative ideas to MyGov Assam.

Under skill India initiative more ITI should be established.Labour intensive industry should b encouraged to establish in the state.our one of the big employer the oil sector should be advised to take more employee by deducting their existing salary structure.Unrationally the oil sector pays much more than other sector.it is better to employe more with little cut in the existing salary structure. Tourism horticulture and pisciculture could be biggest employer of the state.

Three pronged approach:1)Restore aggregate demand-government measures to support aggregate demand and raise consumer and business confidence, public investment projects, tax benefits to private investors.2)post-secondary education:redesign to create a competency-based, personalized, lifelong learning model—one that can evolve quickly to meet rapidly changing employer needs on a global basis 3)Human Capital Development-institutes of higher learning to be remodeled into world class institutions

Assam government needs to boost the it sector and focus on skill development. PSU like Nagaon paper mill which is capable of providing employment should be rejuvenated. Export of handloom and handicraft products should be given attention. The tourism sector too has scope of providing jobs. Entrepreneurship encouragement schemes could help a lot in creating jobs. River transport can also play a vital role n transport as well as job creation.

To Whom it may concern
I worked in a IT company but after returning I didn't found any big companies to provide job as compared to other major cities in India. Our govt. could implement some plans to bring big IT companies. We have human resource and skilled people but less opportunity so we end up leaving our own city to find job.

This idea will not only help to bring jobs but also will increase the state revinue as people from other states will live and pay for livelihood.

Thank you.

1. Skill development through GOI schemes like NULM, NRLM etc.
2. Remove reed tapism from Govt. depts.( example in Guwahati normal building permission of a G+2 building takes more than 4-5 months even sometime more than that) so that investor can find easy to invest in Assam

Sir, skills of an individual should be honed and tapped at the
early stages of youthful years of a individual. Skilled based
training must be introduced at the secondary education level
itself. If skills of an individual is identified at the secondary level itself, it will help the individual to identify
strengths and weaknesses and he or she will have time to work on
improving the skills and identify level of proficiency by the
time they complete higher levels of education.
