The Finance Department has been emphasising on the need to make the budget citizen and outcome oriented. It aims to prepare an “eBudget” that is extremely easy for the citizens to read and consume information. Driven by the motto of participatory governance, the Finance Department, for the second consecutive year plans to invite suggestions from the public on various subjects for the forthcoming budget 2018-19.

The citizens can visit the Finance Department website (https://finance.assam.gov.in/) to submit their ideas online. Suggestions are also welcome through assam.mygov.in as well on varied subjects which may include this year’s sectors namely:

• Child
• Girl Child
• Divyang
• Elderly
• Gender
• Sustainable Development Goals

Last date: 16th February, 2018.

Best suggestions to be featured in the Budget 2018-19 will receive a letter of appreciation signed by the Additional Chief Secretary & Principal Secretary, Finance Department and other surprises.

Govt should take interest in development of farmer, gound level forest staff, groud level police personals, digitalized all departmental work. Should be pay some attention on govt hospitals

Traffic rules should be maintained so as to avoid as many as accidents daily due to negligence of one or the other. A bill should be passed on better vehicle movement and strictly obeying traffic rules.

Employment should be the main focus. The posts may be temporary but employment generation is a must to avoid any means of untoward or violent incident. It is also necessary for the mental peace of educated and deserving youth and also for the betterment of the society. Also, i would like to provide suggestions on sulabh toilets at different places for ladies especially. There is a lack of toilets and they find it very difficult.

agriculture, infrastructure should be the priority.social sector scheme delivery must be assured. entrepreneurship programme implemented.incentive to increase private investment

GOVT should take initiative for a prosperous budget. They can keep more funds for the tourism departments,which will help them in creating employment and big annual turn over can be received.
giving funds to education section is good but how the money is being used should be taken into consideration.
every time there is fund for the improvement of medical section but the development is not seen till now as people are going to outside of Assam for health related check ups

MSME Sector need Focus. More Emphasis should be given on MSME segment to continue their existing and new units. Various Problems related to MSME in Assam need to be answered.

Circle rates for land and flats should be increased as there is vast difference between present rates and actual market rates

Sir, only to boost up revenue all flats and apartments should be registered within a limited time frame after taking possession of the same,making both side responsible.
Same way " Holding number" from the local civil authority will also boost revenue collection,if made compulsory within a stipulated period of time
