Poster design competition on World Environment Day

The earth is now at a perilous state. It faces several risks resulting mainly from population growth. Each day the environment slips into a deeper level of degradation. Air pollution is one of the major threats faced by the environment today. The growing number of vehicles, industries, burning of plastic and several other factors degrades the quality of the air we breathe and pose numerous threats to human lives.

With an aim to spread awareness on the alarming state of air pollution, Pollution Control Board, Assam, is organising a poster design competition through MyGov Assam web portal.

Best poster designs will be awarded cash prizes

• First Prize: Rs. 10,000
• Second Prize: Rs. 7,000
• Third Prize: Rs. 5,000

Last date of submission: June 3, 2019

Terms and conditions:

• Participants must register at assam.mygov.in
• Poster must contain a message concerning air pollution
• The design must be submitted in PDF or JPG format. File size must not exceed 10 MB
• Poster design must be original
• The poster must not contain any watermark
• Posters could either be digitally designed or could be scanned from a hand drawn design
• The decision of MyGov Assam shall be final
• Participants must submit their name, email address and phone number along with their poster
