One of the prime objectives of this new State Government under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal is to transform the Assam into a pollution-free state. The Assam Government is giving the best of its efforts to make the state a popular eco-tourism hotspot for the tourists, while giving equal emphasis on conservation.
With the aim of making Assam pollution-free, the State Government is organising a conservation initiative where 33 districts of the State will be competing against each other for the “Best Pollution-Free Green District of Assam” title. Through this competition, the Government wants to create environmental awareness among the people and work collectively for implementing anti-pollution measures in their respective districts.
A state can render a beautiful appeal to it by taking up various conservation efforts such as planting saplings across the entire expanse of the state, cycling more instead of driving to reach shorter distances, banning plastics, using two separate dustbins for degradable and bio-degradable products, practising sustainable living, preserving existing green areas, increasing the recycling rate, etc.
In every district, a diverse variety of trees such as Neem, Lichi, Bullet Wood, Flame Trees, Yellow Flame, etc. could be planted to purify the air, which will also give the district a picturesque appearance. Fruit orchards are also extremely beneficial in serving both beautification and commercial purposes.
Each district will be judged on the basis of its unique preservation and eco-friendly efforts to turn Assam into a pollution-free state. It will be the responsibility of each district to take care of the saplings planted in this pollution-free drive until it turns into mature trees.

The district, which most efficiently adopt and implement these ideas would be rewarded at the end of this year and it will bag the Best Pollution-Free Green District of Assam title.

Prize Money: Rs. 40,000 and a Certificate

if we can give atleast 10 minutes on sunday for planting a tree in Karbi Anglong. There would be pollution free green district in Assam. We have 52 sunday or 53 during leap year.So, if each individual plant a single tree on sunday. According to 2011 census karbi anglong has a population of 965,280. THINK IT YOU CAN WIN. We all have enough time on sunday even if u don't then also atleast you can give 5 minutes. as for plantation a small plant it will take only 5 to 10 min. Thats all.

EVERY STATE SHOULD BE POLLUTION FREE.WE HAVE TO MORE AWARENESS ABOUT POLLUTION.WE HAVE TO AVOID PLASTICK POLY BAG.WE NEVER SEE PLASTICK GARBAGE.WE ALWAYS USE JUTE BAG.WE ALWAYS ARRANGE PLANTING FOR POLLUTION FREE GREEN PLANT AND PLANTING FOR OXYGEN.WE MORE AWARENESS FOR AIR POLLUTION.WE ALWAYS AVOID DG SOUND FOR POLLUTION FREE.

Plastic needs to be banned completely for anything and everything. We need to carry our own containers, tumblers, cloth bags, baskets etc. everyone should compost wet waste. companies should be banned from using plastic packaging- may this be for groceries, clothing or anything. we can have stores in cities just like supermarkets that sell everything like the kirana store but in clean and more hygienic environment.

১) বহুতো শিক্ষানুষ্ঠানৰ নিজা চৌহদত পুখুৰী আছে। এনে পুখুৰী বন বিভাগ আৰু মীন বিভাগৰ সহৰ্যোগত আদৰ্শ জলতন্ত্ৰ হিচাপে গঢ় দিব লাগে, যাৰ জৰিয়তে পৰিৱেশ শিক্ষা, মৎস্য পালন, হাঁহ-কুকুৰা পালনৰ শিক্ষা দিয়াৰ লগতে অৰ্থ উপাৰ্জনো হব।
২) ব্যক্তিগত, ৰাজহুৱা আৰু চৰকাৰী সকলো অনুষ্ঠানত বৰষুণৰ পানী সংৰক্ষণ, সৌৰশক্তিৰ ব্যৱহাৰ আৰু আৱৰ্জনাৰ প্ৰণালীৱদ্ধ নিষ্কাষণত সৰ্বাধিক গুৰুত্ব দিয়াবলৈ ব্যৱস্থা গ্ৰহণ কৰিব লাগে।

মূলাংকণৰ আগতে কৰিব পৰা কিছু কামঃ
১) নিৰ্বাচিত কিছুমান শিক্ষানুষ্ঠানত, সামাজিক অনুষ্ঠানত ৰাইজৰ সৈতে মিলি স্থানীয় পৰিৱেশ নিৰীক্ষণ কেন্দ্ৰ খুলিব লাগে।তাত পৰিৱেশ নিৰীক্ষণৰ বাবে প্ৰয়োজনীয় আঁহিলা স্থাপন কৰাৰ লগতে নিয়মীয়াকৈ স্থানীয় পৰ্যায়ৰ পৰিৱেশ সম্পৰ্কীয় তথ্য সংগ্ৰহ কৰি ৰখাৰ ব্যৱস্থা হওক।
২) সকলো শিক্ষানুষ্ঠান আৰু চৰকাৰী কাৰ্যালয়ত স্থানীয় প্ৰজাতিৰ ঔষধি উদ্ভিদ ৰোপন কৰা হওক।পৰিৱেশৰ সুৰক্ষা, উদ্যোগৰ বাবে কেঁচামাল, পশু-পক্ষীৰ বাবে খাদ্য আৰু অনুষ্ঠানটোৰ বাবে উপাৰ্জনো হব।

১) নিজা মাটিত পুখুৰী থকা শিক্ষানুষ্ঠানবোৰক আদৰ্শ জলাশয় তন্ত্ৰ ৰূপে পুখুৰীবোৰ পৰিচালনা কৰিব দিব লাগে, যাৰ ভিত্তিত ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীয়ে পৰিৱেশ শিক্ষা পোৱাৰ লগতে অনুষ্ঠানটোৱে উপাৰ্জনো কৰিব পাৰে।
২)আয়ুৰ্বেদিক ঔষধৰ বাবে প্ৰয়োজনীয় থলুৱা গছ-লতিকা সকলো অনুষ্ঠান বা চৰকাৰী কাৰ্যালয়ৰ চৌহদত ৰোপন কৰিবলৈ দিব লাগে যাৰ দ্বাৰা পৰিৱেশ নিকা হোৱাৰ লগতে উদ্যোগৰ বাবে প্ৰচুৰ কেঁচামাল পোৱা যাব, অৰ্থ উপাৰ্জনো হব। চৰাইৰো খাদ্য হব।

For greening golaghat District firstly i am already planted some kinds of tree in my house land. Now I am working on the project of a Bonsai Narsari which I have thinking for Spread-out but i have no money for do it. Secondly, for greening district, a act of low greening should be created where the people are planted tree and used dustbeens in urban or rural area in widely. Under forest dept. I am president of JFMC(joint forest menegement commetee), doing on greening atmosphere.
