The Uberisation scheme of Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) was announced in Assam Budget 2019-20 with an aim to fulfill the need for affordable, reliable, safe and timely public transportation. It is an initiative to narrow down the gap between buses per person in the state by adopting light asset model of bus operations. The Uberisation scheme will ensure that the operational cost of running the bus is minimised. The scheme will increase availability of public transport and will encourage young entrepreneurs, small businesses and self-help groups to enter the transport industry.

In this regard, a logo and tagline design contest has been announced by ASTC, inviting entries from across the state. The logo and tagline must reflect true objective of the scheme along with socio-economic & cultural element of Assam.

1st prize: Rs 50,000
2nd prize: Rs 25,000
3rd prize: Rs 15,000

Respected Jury, I have put Tilinga with Gomosa on the top of the Bus.ASTC inside Pepa with tea leaves. My Tag line is in the sideway of the Bus , that is ," ASSAM KI AASANI " meaning ASTC provide easiness to the people of Assam. There is a trail of Bamboo shoots behind the bus & last but not the least , the grass denotes the greenary of our state. Thanking you , from , Aadya Raj.
