The Assam Society for Comprehensive Financial Management System (a registered society under the Finance Department) is organising a logo design competition for World Bank aided ASPIRe Project.
This project aims to improve the predictability and transparency in budget execution and efficiency in tax administration in Assam. This project will benefit all the government departments and functionaries, especially finance, taxation and excise departments. The citizens of Assam will also see transformative benefits accruing to them through efficient processes, better service delivery such as electronic payments and collections for services, transparent public procurement and enhanced tax payer services.

Logo should focus on the following core objectives:-

• Public Finance Reforms
• Better service delivery mechanism
• Electronic payments and collections for services
• Transparent public procurement
• Enhanced tax payer services
• Public access to key budget execution reports and procurement contracts
• Reduction in cost of collection of tax revenue in taxation and excise departments

Prize Money: The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 10,000

I tried to keep it very simple and straight forward. It is a banking related logo so I used the rupees logo in place of R which more or less completes the whole story. In addition, I used a progressive arrow which connects the rupee and the world which symbolises the growth of the rupees in world level. The world bank logo is on the right hand side of the word 'ASPIRE' which depicts it is aiding the project. Hope my design does justice to the theme and pleases the eyes of the viewers. Thanks!

Here's my proposed logo for World Bank aided ASPIRe project. The outline shows symbol for technology, the circle shows World Bank, Arrow and Bar diagram states taxation and tax reforms, the colors in bar diagram shows tricolor of India,Saffron denotes selflessness, ASPIRe will work without being partial to anybody, White represents honesty and purity towards work, Green represents faith that the people can keep towards the project and the symbol for Indian Rupees represents money(tax).
