The “Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam” is organising a logo design competition, where the logo should highlight the focus areas of the Department.
The “Panchayat & Rural Development Department” of Assam is actively associated with enhancement of livelihood opportunities, alleviation of poverty, creation of an environment of social security, working towards economic inclusion of rural poor families, sanitation etc among many other functions in the State. The main objective of the Department is to empower rural Assam through implementation of a number of welfare schemes and programmes. It seeks to develop rural infrastructure, alleviate poverty, generate employment opportunities, remove regional imbalance and provide housing for rural poor, so that our rural economy can grow effectively.
Focus Areas:
• Enhancement of livelihood opportunities
• Development of Rural Infrastructure
• Rural Housing
• Sanitation
• Eradication of Poverty
• Rural Employment Opportunities
Prize Money: The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
Last Date of Submission: 4th August, 2017.

The logo highlights all the basic facilities that citizens deserves. My highlighted points in the logo are:
1)A clean home with proper supply of water and sanitation.
2)Compulsion of education for everyone.
3)Upliftment in agriculture and medical science.
4)Awareness on the importance of proper economic planning.
5)Proper electric and water supply to the rural areas.
Once we start improving a single home,the entire society gets uplifted slowly. United us, beautiful Assam.

The Rural areas should get the equal facilities as are available in the urban areas like good roads hygiene, clean, internet and communication facilities, safe water supply, electricity, cooking facilities,sanitation etc

India has to rapidly improve its infrastructure at LOC & LAC.
We have to consistently build our countries- border infrastructure including Railway lines, strategic airfields, helipads, bridges, sea coast & dock yards, rope ways, bunkers, tunnels & roads - that can bear the weight of heaviest vehicles, leading right up to the borders for quick mobilization of troops & arms.
The work should be done by responsible & accountable team, good quality & time limit of the work should be fixed.
