Please accept my submission for the logo contest which attempts to glorify the rich culture of the region, particularly Guwahati. The logo is designed illustrating the traditional Japi infused with the football at the top & the renowned 'gamosa' flowing across. The logo also depicts the famous 'one horned rhino', tea leaves & 'mohor xingor pepa'. The image of the city has been recreated through the Kamakhya temple, Saraighat bridge, the mighty Brahmaputra & its green hills.

This logo contains the symbols of Assam and Guwahati. Almost every element of this logo has a meaning. Starting from the tri-coloured winged which signifies the state bird, the Deo haah or White winged wood duck. The Kamakhya Temple is at the top. There are icons of buildings and wind turbine which imply a growing city. The Brahmaputra River and Saraighat Bridge has also been Incorporated in this logo. Thank You.
May the best design win.
