The logo is inspired from the cultural elements from Assam viz: Japi and Gamosa which have been traditionally associated with the welcoming of people. Blue part signifies the mighty Brahmaputra and rhino denotes the strength and endurance of the athletes. The logo signifies the welcoming of all players belonging to different regions of the country to our state.

I am S.Malathy from Tamilnadu.
When I hear Assam, all that comes into my mind are greeny mountains and tea gardens.
So I used it in my logo too. The green peak represents those mountains and
for the tea estate I included a woman labor working in tea estate. It also represents woman power.
