Many homes possess objects accumulated over decades and even centuries. Some of them are decor items while others still functional, passing down through generations. Antique/rare pieces or family heirlooms are valued the most. Be it a bangle used by someone’s great grandmother or old coins no longer in circulation, such priceless items are treasured by even small families. These things have survived the test of time, thus motivating us to preserve them with utmost care and affection. However, many such things also lie in neglected corners due to lack of space or awareness in the family about the worth.
Share with MyGov Assam one or a couple of photographs of an antique object possessed by your family, the story associated with it and how is it valued in your family.
Selected photographs will be featured in a collage to be circulated on all MyGov platforms.
