ALL ASSAM OPEN GENERAL INDIA QUIZ

Celebrating our 71st Independence Day, MyGov Assam is organising an “ALL ASSAM OPEN GENERAL INDIA QUIZ” titled “GYAN BHARATI” on August 15, 2017 in Guwahati.

As a citizen interactive portal, MyGov Assam aims to create an intellectual heritage and promote the ideals of a knowledge based society through “GYAN BHARATI”, celebrating the spirit of our nation in a unique event. The quiz also seeks to create a permanent legacy of interactive governance through web based initiatives and blends modern aspects of the mind game with a rewarding experience.

Gyan Bharati will be conducted by renowned Quizmaster and former Major of Indian Army, Chandrakant Nair. It will consist of two phases, with 3 member teams first writing a preliminary elimination round followed by a main round consisting of 8 teams selected after the prelims.

Venue: Pragjyoti ITA Centre, Machkhowa, Guwahati

Terms & Conditions:
• The quiz is open to all residents of Assam irrespective of age, education, etc.
• Participants have to form a 3-member team to take part in the event.
• Each team may consist of members belonging to different institutions or age groups.
• 8 teams will be selected for the Grand Final out of which 2 spots will be reserved for school teams (up to class 12)
• All members of school teams must be students or awaiting class 12 results.
• Individual members have to register on MyGov Assam portal before August 15, 2017 to take part in this competition.
• The quiz will be held in Guwahati on August 15, 2017 from 2 pm onwards.
• Participants have to take their seats at the venue before 1:30 pm.
