Climate change is increasingly emerging as a humanitarian crisis. Even Assam has witnessed several natural calamities apparently linked to climate change. There is an urgent need to scale up collaborative efforts at various levels to deal with this crisis. India’s initiatives in this regard have been recognised at various global platforms. Cycling has been promoted globally as one of the best ways to combat Climate Change. In its endeavour, the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) is organising a Cycle Rally on its foundation day on 23 March 2023. A competition of writing Tagline – to be used in the Rally – is being organised in association with MyGov Assam.
Three Best Taglines will be used in the Rally and the writers will be awarded at the venue.

The competition is open to all
One participant may submit up to 3 entries but only one shall be selected
Tagline shall be based on the specified theme
Tagline shall be written in either English or Assamese
The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content
Tagline shall be original and written by the participant only
