The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown have not only cast a grave shadow on the lives of people, but also brought the education sector to a temporary standstill. As lockdown is essential during this crucial stage, all the schools, colleges and universities across the country have been closed down as a preventive measure to contain the spread of this deadly virus.

But not even this crisis situation can diminish the zest for knowledge in the minds of the students. Instead, this has pave the way for a new dimension in education -- replacing physical classrooms with an online mode of teaching and learning.

Different methods of technology are being tried and tested by teachers, students and institutions in this phase to minimise the loss of learning experience, especially the studies of curricula.
Share with MyGov Assam, how technology has helped you in staying up-to-date with your curriculum and how can one best use this medium to enhance the learning experience?

In this pandemic period on line learning it is an good thought. Because in this period students can't go to their respective institutions. But there should be continuity. In this way students can learn easily. There should be Knowledge gain will be continued. There will be not so much deferences. Students can earn maximum markes if they can take interest. We appreciate it.

The global experience has been that online learning methods are extremely useful.Ideally online learning should augment classroom learning due to various reasons.Though the ability of the learners to listen to lectures is a great idea but in-classroom learning allows us to interact with our teachers and professors in a much better way.In any case I strongly recommend that the government of Assam gives education a priority by establishing universities/affiliated colleges in every district
