1. By reducing the amount of Plastic usage in our products- Implement Sustainable packaging design solutions. Use more paper based packaging rather than plastic. Behavioral changes need to take place as well. For that serious awareness has to be created.
2. By improving the plastic recycling infrastructure. Improve plastic labelling to support the recycling infrastructure. Develop a close loop plastic recycling industry. Incentivise use of recycled plastic.

Instead of plastic bottles for water or any other food products, companies can introduce paper packages, uses of plastics will be reduced in a large scale. Govt. should bring laws on such products selling into plastics containers.

Use of plastic should be avoided as much as possible. Plastic carry bags may be replaced with paper bags, jute bags, cloth bags, etc. Plastic cups, plastic glasses used for serving beverages may be replaced with paper cups, clay mugs and other eco-friendly materials. Plastic pouches used for transporting milk, curds, etc. may be replaced with tetra packs. Food products packaging may be switched to eco-friendly materials replacing plastic packaging. Avoid plastics to maintain ecological balance.
