The use of plastic is polluting our water bodies, damaging
marine life and causing threat to human health. Plastics are not biodegradable and most of them cannot be recycled, creating imbalance in our eco-system.
For creating awareness, World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year and this year India will serve as the global host of the day. We urge citizens to join hands in exploring sustainable alternatives and cut the excessive use and production of plastic. In 2018, the day will be on the theme ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’.

majority of plastic pollution comes from single use plastic. these could be banned and alternatives like jute, cane, bamboo must be promoted since its widely available in north eastern region, thereby promoting natural as well as local products. heavy fines on plastic usage, incentives to local material industries,recycled paper bags,promoting waste segregation at different levels from household to municipal.

Plastic or Polymer, it makes our daily life easier, because it can be shaped easily as per our requirement. Almost 240 Mt Plastic waste is daily generates by assam where 37 Mt per day generated by people of guwahati. Sir, by Pyrolysis Plant we can convert the plastic waste along with municipal waste to OIL or LDO. If you want more about, I am interested with this project, I already talked to Many departmental officer but nobody shows interest. If you give interest Please Proceed Further.

Hum sab ko agar environment ki chinta hai to jald se jald trees ko bade paimane pe lagana chalu kar dena chahiye kyu ki nature mei badlaw aana chalu ho gaya hai KERALA exm.hai aur nature ke prati pyar public ke dil mei lana padega mei yah kaam apne NGO Help4you ke jariye social media pe 5year se kar raha hu. gov ko PLASTIC CARY BEG abhi se bandh karna chahiye tabhi EARTH ko baccha payenge warna nahi. trees lagane ka sahi samay 2o years pahle tha aur abhi hai.....plant trees save earth..

Say no to plastic.camping and advertising the bad effect of plastic in environment in mass scale in market area, stop all whole sale shops of poly bags in all areas. use of paper bags, cloths, jute bags etc. where there is a will there is a way. All gov department may restrict to use plastic & local police may active to stop selling of poly bags in shops. Arabinda Das.
