I have my home in Assam, and I lived there for more than 25 years before moving to Kolkata. I studied in an Assamese medium school, and I am an Assamese first, then a Bengali. To be at the top of the list, Assam needs to do a lot and the most important among them all is to make education affordable and available for all. It is not a 'five year plan', but a good approach can make Assam a prospering, progressive and peaceful State within next 15 years.

Every Year there is flooding inside city of Guwahati. I have once discussion with WRD for solution, which they observed as simple and effective. where we discussed to implement in small area as pilot project. The technology which I have discussed is already proven and found it suitable as for Guwahati since the geographical condition is such that the city is in low line compare to the level of water flowing in river. We have already executed projects successfully in Delhi NCR for two campus.
