As part of the 73rd Independence Day celebration, MyGov Assam is organising its annual 'Gyan Bharati - The India Quiz' on August 15, 2019, in Dibrugarh.

As a citizen interactive portal, MyGov Assam aims to create an intellectual heritage and promote the ideals of a knowledge-based society through “Gyan Bharati”, celebrating the spirit of our nation in a unique event. The quiz also seeks to create a permanent legacy of interactive governance through web-based initiatives and blend modern aspects of the mind game with a rewarding experience.

Gyan Bharati will be conducted by renowned Quizmaster Dr Vinay Upadhyay. It will consist of two phases, with 2-member teams first writing a preliminary elimination round followed by the final round consisting of 6 teams selected after the prelims.

Venue: Bishnu Rabha Rangmanch, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh

Prizes:
Winner – Rs. 15,000
1st Runner-up – Rs. 12,000
2nd Runner-up – Rs. 8,000

On ground registration: 11 am
Preliminary round: 1 pm
Final round: 2 pm

Terms and conditions

The quiz is open to all residents of Assam irrespective of age, education, etc.
Each participating team can have maximum 2 members.
Six teams will be selected for the final round of which one spot will be reserved for school team (up to class 12).
Individual members have to register on MyGov Assam portal before August 15, 2019, to take part in the competition.
On ground registration will begin at 11 am at the venue on August 15.
