Poems for Nation

As India completes 73 years of independence as a free nation, we are reminded of the numerous valiant freedom fighters who fought selflessly to secure freedom for their motherland from the clutches of British forces. The patriotism exhibited by our freedom fighters in India's freedom struggle against the British continues to inspire generations. Today, we owe our freedom to them.

As a sincere tribute to the sacrifices made by these brave martyrs of the nation, MyGov Assam is organising an activity of *"Patriotic Poem Recitation (Video) Competition"* on the eve of this year's Independence Day.

*Selected videos of recitation will be featured in a compilation to circulated in all MyGov Assam platforms.*
