The Chief Minister Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana was launched by the Chief Minister of Assam in the Financial Year 2016-17. The aim of this mission is to double the farm income by the Financial Year 2021-22.

The scheme is aimed at bringing revolutionary changes in the villages of the state by doubling the farmer’s income. The Chief Minister Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana will be implemented through saturation model by covering each revenue village through focused interventions in direct economic activities, logistic support including market linkages, and community support.

Above focused interventions would be aimed at in nine critical areas and related Missions/programmes will be:
• Fishery Mission
• Milk Mission
• Organic Mission
• Land Management and Conservation Mission
• Sericulture, Khadi and Cottage Industry Mission
• Road and broadband connectivity
• Semi-processing, processing and market linkages
• Youth-Yoga-Sports Mission
• e-gram Mission

The Government of Assam seeks ideas or suggestions from the citizens to make this Mission successful.

Last date for submission of ideas is 10th May, 2017

1. People must be skilled,and know that there village is no less than a big city.
They need to transform there village,govt can only help,they have to sustain it.
2. Long term goal should be implanted into people's mind,instead of short term benefit,which
ruin everything.Ex.person visiting Majuli,and starting from the jetty to the place
where they stay,people starts exploiting,forgetting that same person can provide them more
revenue,if he feel's good about his first trip

First step to develop the villages,It is very important to educate the people of that area properly so that they can understand to servive their life betterly through self mental upgradetion themselves.When people of that area will not thik for their betterment,nothing will be happened.

Please find herewith a project report which could be benefited for rural woman. We have worked for it for last few months and have a plan to do in the ground level but due to some techno financial problem we were unable to do the same. But government can do it with the help of its huge mechanism.We will be grateful if you find our project valuable towards the benefit of rural woman & have a urge to be a part of it.

Make compulsory that every village should adopt organic farming. Others are:
1) Biodiversity register for every village
2) Indegenous Seed Bank for every village
3) Domestic animal hostel
4) Well equipped library
5) Cultural Center
6) Rain Water Harvesting system
7) Homestay & Farmstay for tourist.
8) Medicinal plant garden.
9) Round the year fruit and vegetable farming
10) Food processing units
etc.
